| The Cisne Branco, Portuguese for "White Swan," is a three-masted Tall Ship serving the Brazilian navy as a sail training vessel and international representative. She was built in the Netherlands by Stocheepswerf Damen and launched in November 1999. Cisne Branco is a sister ship of the Stad Amsterdam, built by Damen Shipyard. The Brazilian Navy commissioned her as a training ship for naval officers and cadets. In 2000, the Cisne Bravo made a "Commemorative Journey 500 Years of Brazil," sailing from Lisbon, Portugal, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, sailing in company with NE Sagres of Portugal. | ||||||||||
