The Herman M. Krentz was launched in 1955 by the Krentz Shipyard in Harry Hogan, VA. Captain Ed Farley dredges for oysters from November to March and takes charters and scheduled tours out of St. Michaels in the warmer months. These photographs were taken while departing from Oxford on the Oxford- Bellevue Ferry in June 2004 and in May 2005 at St. Michaels harbor.
